A formula entertainer, the story begins with Venkatramana (Venkatesh), an ardent devotee of Venkateswara Swamy and he has only one problem- marriage. He is not getting married but then he knows that there is a dream girl for him. He is ventriloquist and as part of it, he goes to Europe. There he finds his dream girl in the form of Pooja (Trisha). She is the niece of Paris Prasad (Brahmi) who is a rather cunning and sly character. He fools Venkatramana by saying Pooja is in love with him. Meanwhile, Pooja is brought back to India and her marriage is forcibly fixed with Bhadrappa (subbaraju), son of the fearsome factionist Changalraidu (mukesh). So does Venkatramana know the truth about his love story? Does Pooja get married to Bhadrappa? All this forms the rest of the story.

The director has come up with a predictable plot and though the presentation was good, the narrative could have been better. The dialogues were good, the script was okay and the screenplay was average. Background score was good but songs were a letdown. Cinematography was splendid. Costumes and art department were rich and made their strong presence. Editing could have been better during the second half. Fights were okay. Venkatesh carried his role effectively and it was his show all the way but then he was lacking the energy and spark that he had in his other movies. Trisha was looking pale and even her character didn’t have much to perform. Brahmanandam was the show stealer and few scenes of his were great, but then there were many places where he could have generated more humor. Mukesh Rishi, Jayaprakash Reddy, Subbaraju did what is required to get seriousness. Ali, Srinivas Reddy, M S Narayana, Dharmavarapu, Kasi Viswanath, master Bharat did their bit to add value but not much. The others didn’t have much to offer.
Finally, This is a typical Srinu Vaitla film and for those who have seen his earlier ventures, this one would not be that great. While the first half looks promising, it is the second half that drags quite a bit and the climax is prolonged. Overall, the film runs well on the comedy aspect and technical values but it could have been crisp with some twists instead of running on a routine line. This will be an average grosser at the box office.
